The Hungry Hiker Tearoom now serves traditional home cooked evening meals as well as our usual breakfast service. Produce is locally sourced where possible.

Castlerigg's reception has an abundance of information for visitors to the Lake District, with maps, books, postcard, leaflets - and always plenty of helpful advice at hand from the proprietors. So just sit down for a while and plan your itinerary!

The "Campers Kitchen" provides guests an indoor heated amenity in which to prepare meals. Equipped with twin hobs, microwave, (both 50p tokens) and free use of toasters and kettle. seating washing up basins and a small sun terrace are also provided. |
The laundry has two washing machines and driers, ironing facilities, washing sinks and a baby changing section with nappy dispenser.
